Welkom op de website van de
Nederlandse Vereniging voor Bloedtransfusie.
De Nederlandse Vereniging voor Bloedtransfusie (NVB) is opgericht op 12 december 1978. De vereniging heeft ten doel het bevorderen van de kwaliteit van de bloedtransfusie geneeskunde in Nederland.
De Nederlandse vereniging voor Bloedtransfusie (NVB) is een vereniging voor al
degenen die op het gebied van bloedtransfusies werkzaam zijn of specifieke
interesse in dit vakgebied hebben.
Alhoewel patiënten en/of donoren van
bloedproducten hierbij niet de specifieke doelgroep vormen, kunnen wij ons
voorstellen dat u onze website bezoekt. Uiteraard bent u welkom om via de
website kennis te nemen van de doelstellingen en activiteiten van onze
vereniging.
Mocht u echter op zoek bent naar specifieke zaken op het gebied van
bloedtransfusies, dan verwijzen wij u graag naar verschillende websites waar
specifieke patiënt/donor informatie terug te vinden is.
Het lidmaatschap van de NVB staat open voor een ieder die werkzaam is op, dan wel geïnteresseerd is in het gebied van de bloedtransfusie geneeskunde in de ruimste zin van het woord. De NVB telt op dit moment ongeveer 650 leden.
Op deze website vindt u informatie over de belangrijkste activiteiten van de NVB. U kunt hier ook vragen stellen of suggesties doen.
Verder kunt u zich op deze site opgeven voor deelname aan de jaarlijkse Onderzoeksdag of zich inschrijven als lid van de vereniging.
Welcome to the website of the Dutch Blood
Transfusion Society.
The Dutch Blood Transfusion Society (Nederlandse Vereniging voor
Bloedtransfusie, NVB) was founded on 12 December 1978. The society aims to
further the quality of Blood Transfusion Medicine in the Netherlands in its
broadest sense. We are a society for all those who are working in the field of
blood banking, blood transfusion medicine, and those who are involved in
scientific research in this field. At the moment the society has around 650
members.
The society publishes a quaterly scholarly journal in Dutch: Tijdschrift voor
Bloedtransfusie.
Annually, in May, the society is organising a two-day conference. In 2012 we
join hands with the Netherlanland Hemovigilance Organisation (TRIP, Transfusion
Reactions In Patients).
In 2013 the NVB - together with Sanquin Blood Supply Foundation - will host the
2013 Regional Congress of the International Society of Blood Transfusion (ISBT)
in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
